The Lorain Lions Club has been serving the Lorain community and its citizens since it was founded in 1922. The club meets every Thursday at Rebman's On The Avenue, 5300 Oberlin Avenue, at noon, except on the first Thursday when it meets at 7 p.m. for dinner. manager of the Mercy Thrift Shop on W. 21st Street, spoke to the Lorain Lions at the February 26 luncheon about the origins, purpose and work of the shop, which is run completely by volunteers of the hospital auxiliary.
