The Lorain Lions Club has been serving the Lorain community and its citizens since it was founded in 1922. The club meets every Thursday at Rebman's On The Avenue, 5300 Oberlin Avenue, at noon, except on the first Thursday when it meets at 7 p.m. for dinner. Michele VanWormer, membership and sales manager for Visit Lorain County, spoke to Lorain Lions on July 23 about the tourism appeal of Lorain County, particularly its waterfront, shopping, concerts and arts.
