Optometric Techs Jennifer Hall and Megan Hohman.

General Manager Michelle (left) and Optician Ronda (right) were busy as the 22 Lorain City Schools students received eye exams and then came over for new eyeglasses.  One of the students went in to the kitchen at the Church in the Mall Social Center across from Lenscrafters with his new glasses and looked down at the pizza.  "Oh," he said, "is that what Marco's pizza looks like!"

Thanks to Pastor Tom of The Gathering Place Church in the Mall for offering the church's social center, Island Safari, right across from Lenscrafters, as a relaxing and restful area for the 22 students and 8 Lion Volunteers to wait.  There couldn't have been a more perfect place and location for such an area.  The Lions and Lenscrafters are truly grateful for the church's generosity.

It even had a kitchen!

In Memoriam - Lion Paul Trimble

Lion Paul Trimble, 1983-2012
Lion Paul joined the Lorain Lions Club
in February, 2011 and showed his commitment
to serving the community right away by helping
every month at Second Harvest Foodbank.  He
volunteered to coordinate that monthly service
starting in July, 2011 and until his passing.
Lion Paul will be missed.

ABOVE AND BELOW:
Lorain Lions gather at Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral Home on
November 12, 2012 for their Memorial service for
Lion Paul Trimble. A very good turnout of our members
listened to a solemn and uplifting eulogy of Lion Paul's
dedication to service by club Chaplain Lion Bruce Meadows.
