Lions top Rotary in Lorain Salvation Army Kettle Challenge

The Lorain Rotary Club and Lorain Lions Club competed for the benefit of the Salvation Army this season with each club ringing the bells at Walmart in Lorain during December, Rotary on Dec. 5 and Lions on Dec. 19. The final tally = Lorain Lions $1,216.03 and Lorain Rotary $1,208.98. Pictured from left to right at the Nov. 5 Rotary Club meeting when the challenge began , are Lt. Jimmy Susa, of the Salvation Army in Lorain, Jim Wilson, former president of Lorain Rotary Club; Carolyn Huston, president of Lorain Rotary; Dan Smith, president of Lorain Lions Club; Ken Cromer, past president of Lorain Lions, and Lt.
