The Lorain Lions Club has been serving the Lorain community and its citizens since it was founded in 1922. The club meets every Thursday at Rebman's On The Avenue, 5300 Oberlin Avenue, at noon, except on the first Thursday when it meets at 7 p.m. for dinner. We can be contacted at email@example.com.
Our 33-year member and dedicated fellow Lion, Dale Meredith, passed away Saturday, November 12. The Lorain Lions will conduct a memorial service Tuesday, November 15, at 7:30 p.m. during the visitation that will be held at St. Johns United Church of Christ, 715 Reid Ave., in downtown Lorain. Lion Bruce Meadows, our club chaplain and sponsor of Lion Dale in Lions, will conduct the memorial service. Lions should arrive no later than 7:15 p.m. and, if possible, wear a red Lions shirt, vest or jacket. We hope as many Lions as possible will attend this meaningful ceremony to honor the many years of service and good cheer that Lion Dale gave to us and to his family and community. He has been missed these past few months and will be missed more so now. Our prayers are with Lion Dale’s family in their loss.
