Lions' Monthly Commitment to Second Harvest

Lorain Lions (above) were joined by ten members of the Lorain High School Leo Club to pack food boxes for seniors at Second Harvest Food Bank on Tuesday, November 28, 2017.  This is a monthly volunteer commitment to the Food Bank.

East Side Block Watch Leaders Talk to Lions about Community

Lion Rich Foil (right) thanks J.R. Lee and his wife Nancy for speaking to Lions at our October 19 lunch meeting about their project to restore the Century Park Harbor House on the city's east side.  The Lee's head the East Side Block Watch group and have led many community improvement projects in addition to the Harbor House spruce up.  The Lorain Lions helped the group repaint the Harbor House on Saturday, October 21.

Lorain Lions Volunteer for Oakwood Park Service Project

Academic Distress Commission Chair Addresses Lions

Tony Richardson (ABOVE LEFT), Chairman of the Lorain City Schools Academic Distress Commission, spoke to the Lorain Lions at their August 3 dinner meeting at the request of Club Program Chair, Lion Dan Smith (right).  Tony gave a very informative and passionate review of the crisis facing the school system from his very unique perspective as product of the school system who overcame severe handicaps to become a productive and highly educated leader in the community.  Tony's sincere concern and commitment to improve the schools came through strong and clear.  Thanks to Tony for his great work!
