The Lorain Lions Club has been serving the Lorain community and its citizens since it was founded in 1922. The club meets every Thursday at Rebman's On The Avenue, 5300 Oberlin Avenue, at noon, except on the first Thursday when it meets at 7 p.m. for dinner. Jordan Davis, 2015-16 Milan Melon Festival Queen, and her mother Robin, spoke to the Lorain Lions Club at Rebman's On the Avenue at the July 28 noon meeting. The Milan Melon Festival will be held in Milan, Sept. 2-5.
