The Lorain Lions Club has been serving the Lorain community and its citizens since it was founded in 1922. The club meets every Thursday at Rebman's On The Avenue, 5300 Oberlin Avenue, at noon, except on the first Thursday when it meets at 7 p.m. for dinner. LORAIN LIONS TAKE PART IN GIBSONBURG LIONS CHARTER NIGHT
Lorain Lions Ken Cromer, Zone 4 chairperson, and Dan Smith, District 13B Public Relations and Marketing chairman and District Webmaster, pose with District 2nd Vice Governor Steve Cochie at the charter celebration for the new Gibsonburg Lions Club on Jan. 10. It was an inspirational evening recognizing this dynamic new club with 34 members. Reminder, 2nd Vice Gov. Cochie will be the featured speaker at the Lorain Lions Club Monarch Dinner on Thursday, Feb. 2, at Rebman's On the Avenue beginning at 7 p.m. He will also present to chevrons to the Lions honored at this event for their years of service.
