The Lorain Lions Club has been serving the Lorain community and its citizens since it was founded in 1922. The club meets every Thursday at Rebman's On The Avenue, 5300 Oberlin Avenue, at noon, except on the first Thursday when it meets at 7 p.m. for dinner. Dr. John Smith, a Lorain Lion, spoke at the Jan. 8 Lorain Lions night meeting, on the new technology available for treating those who are visually impaired. It was a very informative program.
