ABOVE: Keynote Speaker Erik Escuro gave an inspirational talk about the importance of the diversity he grew up with in Lorain and Lake Ridge Academy as the son of prominent members of the Filipino community in Lorain County, Dr. Ruben Escuro and Maria Escuro. Erik is only 23, but spoke eloquently about his experiences, including working for Teach For America in rural North Carolina the past two years.
