Lions Get Trained on Vision Screening Device
About 25 Lions from Zone 4, including 10 Lorain Lions, gathered at the LaGrange Lions Club Park facility on Thursday, May 31 to learn how to operate the Welch-Allyn Sure-Sight Vision Screening device. The Ohio Lions purchased 10 of these (one for each district) to perform screenings of 3-5 year olds. The device accurately identifies vision problems in young children without the need to be able to read.
