Mayor Ritenauer talks to Lions about Lorain

Mayor Chase Ritenauer gave Lorain Lions a comprehensive of present and future plans for the City of Lorain at the July 17 noon meeting. You will note the Lorain Lighthouse pin on the mayor's lapel, presented to him after he first spoke to the club a few days after his election of mayor in 2011. President Kim Worden presented the mayor for an updated Lorain Lions Lighthouse pin, which the mayor also said he would be delighted to wear.

Palace program director visits Lions

Andrew Lipian, new program director for the Lorain Palace Theatre, gave an informative talk on what's happening at the Palace at the July 24 Lorain Lions meeting. He also "rocked the house" with his inspiring saying of  the "Pledge Allegiance to the Flag" and a rousing rendition of "God Bless America" to end the noon meeting. Well done!
