Elaine Betting (above left), Manager of Youth Services for Lorain Public Library System, and Meagan Hayes, Marketing & Communications Director of LPLS, presented some of the latest services and programs offered at the largest public library system in the county. What a reminder of the value and power of a public library user's card! Now you can have about 100 magazines delivered to your home computer or mobile device, or sign up for a program while you're browsing the library's website, or be emailed a list of the new books being ordered so you can place a hold on that new book you've heard about. These are just a few examples of the new things offered. I think I'll be signing my grandson and I up for the Library's "Just For Guys SuperHero Party" at the Rose Cafe!
