Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio Celebrate 100 Years
Shirley Leonard (above right), Manager of Member Services and Community Development of the Girl Scouts of North East Ohio, gave a very interesting presentation at our July 19 noon meeting. She spoke about the history, purpose and values of Girl Scouts and how they have transformed thousands of young girls into successful adults. She informed us about the "Campaign for Girls" that is seeking to raise $5 million over the next three years. Lion Ben Norton (above left) and wife Jane are the honorary co-chairs of this very important drive to help Girl Scouts secure its future.
