Community Development Interim Director Addresses Lorain Lions
Interim Director of the Lorain City Community Development, Rey Carrion (above) spoke to the Lorain Lions on Thursday, April 5, about the upcoming events at the Pipe Yard Stadium. The 2012 season kicks off on May 6 with the 5th annual Andrew "Rube" Foster night, honoring the father of the Negro Baseball League. This year, the annual event honors Ms. Mamie "Peanut" Johnson, who was one of three women to ever play in that league.
